As a German patent attorney I am dealing with all aspects of intellectual property rights including

This includes for example
- preparing and filing applications in and outside of Germany
- representing clients in opposition procedures and nullity proceedings
- preparing expert opinions
- carrying out searches and surveillance of intellectual property rights
- payment of maintenance fees
- preparing patent translations
My special areas of practice are patent prosecution and opposition procedures before the German and,
in particular, the European Patent Office in all chemical fields and particularly in the fields of
pharmacy, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, organic chemistry, and inorganic
chemistry.
I have mainly been engaged for big chemical and pharmaceutical companies as well as medium-sized
and startup firms. In addition, I worked for inventors employed in universities or research
institutes as well as single inventors. I also have extensive experience in conducting oral
proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Patent Court and the
European Patent Office.
